Thus concluded our collective experience of Environmental Education Day
A week full of learning, promotion of dialogue and spaces for participation and citizen encounter around the importance of our interaction with the environment, Nature and how deeply connected we are.
We had the presence of + 300 participants and + 40 organizations committed to the development of the event in very interesting and varied topics that they addressed: the memory of the territory, ancestral wisdom, yoga,, medititation, the re-evaluation of daily habits related to water, animals, the circular economy, the waste we generate and its impact; all this through opening activities and experiential workshops.
Today we want to share with all the dynamic indicators of the day of the event, with the only Purpose to follow expanding Consciousness and show that although the results are always beneficial, we still have a long way to go on a great journey in taking action to live in harmony with our ecosystems.

Did you know how much a ton of CO2 is compared to a person? Observe it in the graph and let's reflect together...
With planting 95 trees, on average we managed to capture 950 Kg of CO2, and in 2019 the world figure for CO2 emissions closed at 33,300 million tons of CO2.
A human being requires at least 22 trees nearby to breathe! We still have many trees to plant!
Trees are an important actor in the reduction of emissions, but not the main one, since our task as a society requires reducing the use of fossil fuels, implementing non-polluting sustainable agriculture techniques, being efficient in irrigation, avoiding waste, among many other practices.
Remember: “The best waste is the one that is not produced.”
It is no longer just a question of compensating for pollution, but of avoiding their generation!
THANKS TO YOUR COMMITMENT, WE COLLECTED IN A SINGLE DAY: 3.85 KG OF USED OIL WHICH IS EQUIVALENT TO 3,850 LITERS OF CLEAN WATER! THANKS TO THE #GOTASDEACEITEPERLITROSDEAGUA PROGRAM OF BAZERO.
This fact is equivalent to the amount of water that a person uses on average per month!
MORE THAN 50 KG OF WASTE COLLECTED AND PROPERLY DISPOSED OF THANKS TO DIFFERENT POST-CONSUMPTION PROGRAMS: RETROCD, FUNDACIÓN SANAR, LÚMINA, PILAS CON EL AMBIENTE, ECOCÓMPUTO ANDECOLECTA!
